DUE TO A VACANCY ON THE MIDWAY CITY COUNCIL, A LETTER OF INTEREST IN COMPLETING THE UNEXPIRED TERM OF THE VACANT COUNCIL PERSON’S SEAT ARE BEING ACCEPTED. PLEASE SUBMIT TO MIDWAY CITY HALL A LETTER OF INTEREST TOGETHER WITH ANY INFORMATION THAT YOU DEEM APPROPRIATE FOR CONSIDERATION BY THE MIDWAY CITY COUNCIL IN MAKING ITS APPOINTMENT BY 2:00 P.M. WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 2012. THE QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PERSON TO HOLD THIS OFFICE ARE: Must be a resident of the city not less than one (1) year prior to his/her appointment; Be twenty-one years of age, or older; Be a qualified voter in the city; and, Reside in the city throughout the term of office (KRS 83A.040(4).
