Streets and Grounds

1.        Sinkhole is continuing to be monitored.

2.        We had a bad mowing. Marshall of Mowtown Mowing resolved it at no cost to us.

3.        Harrod Concrete dumped concrete in our common areas. LM contacted the company and ensured that the concrete was removed by the company.

  1. Place a notice about not dumping in the next newsletter.
  2. Need to talk to Tony M regarding his building. It doesn’t meet restrictions.

Public Relations

  1. Next newsletter will be published this fall.  Discussion was held on including photographs from the Midway Fall Festival in next newsletter.
  2. Flyer to recruit additional board members will be created and distributed to all households in the neighborhood.
  3. Discussion of having a Neighborhood Day at a Lexington Legends game next year.

 

  1. Oct 17th will be the next newsletter submission deadline.
  2. LM will write President’s message.
  3. Add info re: Halloween.
  4. LK will write information regarding dues.

Civic Action

1.  Cindy needs to take a break from this committee.

 

1.  LM will ask Tony Moreno to send us copies of the minutes of the City Council meetings.

Finance

1.      Motion to add 1% per month (12% per year) to the balance due for overdue payment of fees compounded monthly. LK motioned, and ML seconded. Passed.

2.      Reviewed dues collection.

3.      Reviewed checkbook.

4.      LK filed taxes for the year.

1.      LK will find out whether it costs $ to remove a lien.
